Honda has issued a recall on nearly 100,000 Fit 2009-2010 models.
Honda says 97,201 sets motion springs must be replaced because the springs could bend and break, which could result in a noisy engine and in the worst case scenario, a stalled car.
Honda says no injuries or accidents have been reported due to this problem but the company says owners will be contacted to bring their car in.
Honda is encouraging all owners of affected vehicles to take their cars to an authorized dealer as soon as they receive notification of this recall from Honda by mail. Notification to customers will begin in early March 2011.
