Ophiuchus : Who is Ophiuchus, The New Zodiac Sign

Who is Ophiuchus?

The most buzzed about topic this week is the new Zodiac. Thanks to the Minnesota Planetarium Society, we now have a 13th zodiac sign.

The Minnesota Planetarium Society discovered the updated “true” power of the moon’s gravitational pull on Earth. More importantly, they discovered that the horoscope symbols now fall on different dates.

Who knew this would cause such mayhem. But then again you may have been reading the wrong monthly horoscope your whole life or you could have never met your match because you were looking for the wrong compatible sign.

The fact that you are not the sign you thought you were may be scary but something even more horrifying- you may be the new sign- Ophiuchus.

The new sign, Ophiuchus, falls from November 29 – December 17th.  New members are not happy to join the new sign club.

” I don’t know where I stand, this whole time I believed I fit all the traits of a Sagittarius and now I am this virtually unknown sign,” said Neil Franco of Hicksville, New York.

Fear not, the new sign is not that scary after all. Reportedly, the constellation of Ophiuchus is the only zodiac sign linked to a real man – not a crab like some people. The man behind the sign was said to have lived in ancient Egypt around the 27th century BCE, his name was Imhotep. One of Imhoteps abilities was healing and it is said that he was the one who first introduced it to the world. His accomplishments also included a wide knowledge of medicine- the  symbol used to represent the medical field ,serpent/snake symbol, represented Imhotep.

So there you have it, a real man, a healer, a doctor!  Not so bad after all.

Characteristics of an Ophiuchus:

Interpreter of dreams, vivid premonitions

Attracts good luck and fruitful blessings

Serpent holder, lofty ideals

Seeker of peace and harmony

Doctor of medicine or science, natural-pathic

Adds, increases, joins, or gathers together

Here is the Zodiac with the addition of Ophiuchus:

Capricorn: Jan 20 – Feb 16

Aquarius: Feb 16 – March 11

Pisces: March 11 – April 18

Aries: April 18 – May 13

Taurus: May 13 – June 21

Gemini: June 21 – July 20

Cancer: July 20 – Aug 10

Leo: Aug 10 – Sept 16

Virgo: Sept 16 – Oct 30

Libra: Oct 30 – Nov 23

Scorpio: Nov 23 – Nov 29

Ophiuchus: Nov 29 – Dec 17

Sagittarius: Dec 17 – Jan 20.
