i’m a smoker but non-smoking sidewalks are a joke!!air is free,no charge. we as smokers have rights also.why don’t you just put a sign up saying no smokers allowed inside of your stores and you don’t need their money either!! anything else you don’t like put up a sign!! i’m sure a billboard will work also saying smokers not welcome in your red neck town!! would like other smokers to put in their comments also.

I AM A SMOKER,AND I DON’T PLAN ON QUITTING, I CAN UNDERSTAND THE NOT SMOKING IN STORES AND RESTURANT’S BUT THE SIDEWALK?COME ON.WE SMOKERS HAVE AS MUCH RIGHT TO THE FREE AIR AS A NON-SMOKER, WE WORK,PAY TAXES,BILLS ETC AS ANYONE ELSE. AS FAR AS I KNOW WE STILL HAVE FREEDOM OF CHOICE, AND ARE NOT UNDER A DICTATOR.SO UNTIL WE BECOME AN ENSLAVED COUNTRY, A SMOKER HAS AS MUCH RIGHTS AS A NON-SMOKER. AND MOST I REPEAT,MOST SMOKERS ARE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS!!

Great! Next it will be that can only watch TV on certain days, The government now is creeping slowly into the lives of Americans. Wasn’t this country founded when we escaped British Rule? Just wait….The governemnt will be telling you what clothes to wear! Its a wonder that Great Neck has so many empty stores and at the same time wants us to shop in Great Neck!

As a non smoker, I must say this is ridiculous. The government is controlling more and more what people can do. Pretty soon they will be telling you what you can and can’t eat or say (or has that happen already?). The pubic is just going to take it and drone on like good little tax paying workers. I for one, won’t be in shopping or dining in Great Neck now.
