Watch them again and you’ll see why. “The Wire” doesn’t stand up to repeated viewings while “The Sopranos” gets often better. Also, the first episode of the show was seminal. Lastly, it is part of MOMA’s permanent collection.

No Walking Dead! That was easily the top series of the year.

And Community?? Please, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, and Outsourced were better. Although the paintball episode of Community was an instant classic, but for overall consistency, I’ll take the others.

And Terriers rocked. Lousy marketing and a questionable title doomed this one I believe.

Donal Logue will land somewhere, and whatever show that is will be all the better because of it.
