is so last week. While many thought chugging a can of that rocket fuel was the craziest way to get drunk, this is no longer true. Alcoholic whipped cream is the latest get-drunk-quick gimmick, and it is infused with 18 percent alcohol by volume, which is more than three times the amount of booze found in most beers. College students are already singing its praises, saying that it’s the perfect complement to Jell-O shots, especially since the cream comes in multiple flavors…

The only thing worse than confusing North Korea with South Korea (*cough Sarah Palin cough*) is confusing the Koreas with China. Venezuela’s former Miss Universe Alicia Machado tweeted “Tonight I want to ask you to join me in a prayer for peace, that these attacks between the Chinas do not make our situation worse,” regarding the North Korean artillery attack on a South Korean island. There are so many Staten Island jokes that could be made right now, but we’ll take the high road…

Carlos Munoz and Marisela Matienzo got married at a McDonald’s in Northern Mexico last week. The couple admitted that their parents were less than thrilled with the idea, and many guests thought that it was a joke. Although this is the first McDonald’s wedding in Latin America, the fast food corporation reported that tying the knot with Big Macs is becoming a trend in Hong Kong. Still, with all these Bridezillas hosting million-dollar weddings in the worst economic period since the Great Depression, maybe Dollar Menu nuptials aren’t the worst idea…

A 69-year-old woman in France spent three weeks trapped in her apartment bathroom after the door lock broke. The woman survived by drinking warm water from the tap, and she tapped the pipes at night to try and alert neighbors. The neighbors, who eventually alerted the police after not seeing her for some time, said they thought the noise was someone doing repair work and had launched a petition to have it stopped…
