Daylight Savings Time. It’s coming to an end which means you are about to gain an hour for one day, and lose an hour of sunlight till next year. So when exactly does the time change this Fall? When do we get to turn the clocks back and say our official goodbye to the warm weather?

That’s right, kids. It’s going to be dark at 4 p.m. very shortly.
Daylight Savings Time, which is completely ignored by those lucky folks in Hawaii and Arizona, started as a means of utilizing the daylight hours and saving energy during World War II. It stuck. Now we just do it to save on energy, and because getting up in the morning to go to school or work in darkness, well, absolutely sucks.
Then again, so does coming home from school or work in complete darkness.
But, hey, at least we get that extra hour! Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on November 6th or you’ll be spending that extra hour at work.
