It’s no coincidence a Halloween 5K is raising money to fight positional plagiocephaly and craniosynostosis—the terrifying conditions cause flat spots on a child’s head and sutures inside it to fuse together, leading to stunted brain and skull growth. The Jorge Posada Foundation and Craniosynostosis And Positional Plagiocephaly Support (CAPPS) are banding together to combat the pair of conditions. All profits from the run/walk will go straight to the two groups, and each participant is automatically entered to win a handful of raffles.
