Michael Montesano (R,C,I,TRP-Glen Head)
Montesano, a 55-year-old former New York City police detective, won his Assembly seat in a special election in February. He has since made repealing the MTA payroll tax and auditing the transit agency his top issues. Montesano has been acting village justice for the Village of Roslyn Harbor since 2003 after serving five years as village prosecutor.
