Janice Sweet (D)

Sweet, 51, of Babylon, is in her first run for office but a long history in politics. She was a legislative-aide for Suffolk legislators Elie Mystal and Maxine Postal, a former Babylon town attorney and currently is an attorney for the Suffolk Off-Track Betting Corporation. She has focused her campaign on the areas of ethics reform and environmental protection.
