Two men were arrested in connection with the theft of an Infiniti from a Lynbrook dealership early Saturday morning, Nassau County police said.
Shawn C. Reid, 23 of Brooklyn, and Anthony Charles Spencer,24, of East Stroudsberg, Penn. stole a 2010 Infiniti G37 convertible from Legacy Infiniti locate at 855 Sunrise Hwy., according to police.
Police officers saw one of the men driving the vehicle. He then stopped the car and fled on foot. Two other officers observed a 2007 Infiniti with a Pennsylvania registration fail to signal a left turn. The officers pulled the vehicle over and saw both defendants inside with a stolen key fob, floor mats, owner’s manual and tires and rims taken from the 2010 Infiniti. The stolen merchandise was valued at more than $52,000.
Reid an Spencer will be arraigned today at First District Court in Hempstead.
