Former NFL linebacker Junior Seau had the epitome of a bad day when he was arrested for alleged domestic violence, released, and then hours later drove off a cliff.

Seau was released from jail at around 3:20 a.m. Monday. Five hours later his Cadillac SUV was found on a Carlsbad, Calif. beach 30 feet below the road. Police are investigating the cause of the crash
