
One person is dead and three others seriously injured after a single engine prop plane went down at 9 a.m. after taking off from Republic Airport in East Farmingdale.
A plane crashed near East Farmingdale’s Republic Airport at about 9 a.m. today, killing one and seriously injuring three others.

According to a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the pilot of the Marchetti four-seater was making a practice landing
The crash occurred near the East Farmingdale fire department station.
The identities of the victims have yet to be released by authorities.
