The Smokeout Festival 2010, Cypress Hill’s annual Smokeout Festival, takes place today in San Bernardino, Calif.
The Smokeout Festival 2010 features three stages and dozens of performers, including Deadmau5, MGMT, Erykah Badu, Incubus and, of course, Cypress Hill (performing their entire debut album).
But what really sets the Smokeout Festival 2010 apart from past iterations is that this year, an area will be roped off where people using marijuana for medicinal purposes will be able to take their medicine.
This is an unheard of occurrence and certainly the first time such a thing has been allowed in California.
The move comes weeks before the state votes on Proposition 19, which would allow citizens over the age of 21 to carry an ounce of marijuana.
