by Associated Press on October 16, 2010

EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Mitchell Bennett caught two touchdown passes and a two-point conversion as Lafayette won its first game of the season Saturday, 28-21 over Stony Brook.

Bennett caught 21- and 8-yard scoring passes from Ryan O’Neil as the Leopards (1-5) built a 17-7 lead through three quarters.

His two-point conversion catch after Marc Quilling’s 1-yard touchdown run helped Lafayette hold on as the Seawolves (2-4) scored twice in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run by Michael Coulter and a 1-yard pass from Coulter to Matt Brevi.

Pat Mputu rushed for 102 yards on 23 carries, and O’Neil was 15 of 24 for 142 yards passing for Lafayette.

Stony Brook’s Brock Jackolski rushed for 104 yards on 15 carries, and Coulter completed 21 of 35 passes for 200 yards. The Seawolves had 359 yards total on offense to Lafayette’s 303, but were penalized 11 times for 119 yards.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
