The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $2,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of two people who threw two kittens from a moving vehicle on the Southern State Parkway on Friday.
A witness reportedly saw the suspects throw a paper bag containing two kittens from their gold-colored Chevrolet Malibu near Exit 36, Straight Path, Roy Gross, chief of the Suffolk County SPCA, said.
The witness stopped and found one of the kittens already dead and the other badly injured. The second kitten was brought to the West Babylon Animal Hospital where it later died.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Suffolk County SPCA at 631-382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential.
