Michael was sentenced on Sept. 14 for crashing his car into a London shop in July while high on prescription drugs and marijuana. He will spend the remaining four weeks on parole, and he also has to pay a 1,250 pound fine and has lost his driver’s license for five years.

“I just want to start again,” the 47-year-old singer told reporters outside of his home in north London. He also thanked fans for their support.
