A 38-year-old Sag Harbor woman was arrested Wednesday for driving while high on marijuana in Noyac, Southampton Town Police said.
Angela Huper was driver her Infinity westbound on Noyac Road when an officer pulled her over for failing to maintain her lane and found she was to be driving while her abilities were impaired by drugs with a 6-year-old child in the vehicle at 5:54 p.m., police said.
Huper was charged with driving while intoxicated as a felony under Leandra’s Law, driving while ability impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, endangering the welfare of a child, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and several traffic violations.
Huper was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court. The child was released to the custody of the father.
