Quick apology: I didn't read the full article and I was WRONG. Thank you for the line I did see of condolence. It is actually refreshing after the many articles I saw which I thought to be callous. Again, let me say, in this case I was WRONG WRONG WRONG. Thanks again, micah david

I just wanted to write a quick comment on this article. I know the Brandon Davis that passed wasn't what most would call "newsworthy" but he grew up with my kids and his parents attend church weekly with my parents. They are honest hardworking people who raised their son to love others and work hard himself. At this time, they are preparing to bury their son tomorrow. I can say this with certainty: He had parents and a son and many friends who do think he is noteworthy and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. While I am glad that the Brandon Davis, who is the oil heir, is not dead , especially when one pauses to consider how horrible this death must have been. I can't help but wonder if we as a society have come to the point that we lose all sensitivity to a grieving family over a son that a line or two couldn't have been thrown in of condolence for the Brandon Davis that did pass. Do we no longer pause for the poor soul who did suffer or is it just business as usual and on to the next party?
