Similac’s lookup page, www.similac.com/recall/lookup isn’t working for many who are looking to see if their products are included in the $5 million recalled on Thursday.

The website has attracted so many people in such a short amount of time, it is not loading for a lot of people. In the mean time, if you have a Similac product, look on the bottom for the lot number, wait about 20 minutes, then visit www.similac.com/recall/lookup, and type in the number to see if it is on the recall list. It may take awhile to get the page to load, but the site is working, it is just busy due to high traffic. Another option, if you’d rather wait on the phone line, is to call 800-986-8850.
Powdered Similac products were recalled after one of the manufacturing plants was found to have beetles that could have possibly entered product packaging.
This recall does not affect liquid-based formulas.
