A 26-year-old Wantagh man was arrested for three-month burglary spree in Seaford, Massapequa, Levittown, Wantagh and Syosset, Nassau County police said.
Evan Schantz was charged with 10 counts of burglary. He entered unlocked windows of corner houses while wearing a Cablevision uniform, police said.
Second Squad detectives said the 26-year-old burglarized the first home in Wantagh on July 22 and hit homes sporadically except for Aug. 13 when he allegedly broke into a Wantagh and Seaford home on the same day. In all cases, he stole jewelry, police said.
Schantz was arrested at his home Wednesday. He will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
