Well folks. I hate to say it, but its time to reverse this problem. There needs to be a push for every law abiding person to be able to carry a weapon and not worry when they protect there own property and family. Many other states have no problem with this and let me tell you. THE DIRT BAGS THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT BREAKING IN THEN. More people are killed every year by doctors in the US than gubs. Look it up. You will see.

The ACLU has nothing to do with a neighborhood going bad. It’s because of a very bad economy which resulted from 8 years of laissez-faire, fascist, pro-corporate economic policies, and illegal immigration, and political correctness which insists that certain ethnic cultures aren’t as corrupt and disgusting as they actually are.

The ACLU only (theoretically) protects First Amendment rights. They don’t hand out guns to home invaders.

this is bullshit. valley stream and elmont were wonderful neighborhoods to grow up in–block parties, everyone knew their neighbors, kids had the same teachers their parents had growing up– and now they’ve gone to shit. now the bakeries and family owned businesses have all turned to check cashing and 99 stores. now there is a robbery or home invasion constantly, daily. it isn’t right. this stuff did not happen back then…not to this extent. i’m not glamorizing “the good old days” this stuff just did not happen.. once a year maybe, hell once a month maybe, but not every freaking day, this is unbelievable. And the saddest part is i dont even see a possible solution. Its not fair that the kids that live there today dont have what i had growing up and its not fair that i can’t think of a way to give it back to them. its just sad all around.

What happened to Valley Stream? It used to be such a nice working class neighborhood with little crime, now crime is all you hear about. We need to figure out what happened to Valley Stream, so we can stop these neighborhoods from getting bad in the first place. Anyone know what happened and how to prevent it?
