Basically the UN gets control of the water,then it’s privatized….You’re bankrupt USA.
The Obama guy is running through the CLEAR Act because of the spill in the Gulf.The Great Lakes and costal waters will be regionalized,(privatized)and you have no right to divert water,even collect rain water without penalty.Even your well is part of the water table.The conspiracy nuts were saying that is what they were going to do for years..No one listened.Look up the CLEAR Act folks.

Thanks too all that could have prevented this spill, you are an outstanding group of individuals that are probably patting yourselves on the back for stopping the leak as quickly as you did. I can picture a lot of high fives going on right now. When what you should be doing is hanging your head in discuss and turning in your resignations for your total lack of ability to do the right thing! Ladyfinger is absolutely correct. “We absolutely HAVE to get off this oil addiction.” Right on. And why not? It is entirely viable to do so.

Our society has been highly programmed to believe that oil is the only viable source for energy. This is a total lie. A lie that has been inculcated into you by the world financial interests and the hydrocarbon industry, their shills.

T. James, may I mention a couple of more things? How about Ladyfinger’s computer and the electricty it takes to run it? The IV bags and catheters they use when you go to the hospital, the clothing on your back, the fuel it takes to grow (fertilizer) the crops. The harvesting equipment and processing machinery to get that crop ready to eat, the trucks to deliverit to the store? Yes we do waste too much fuel. But the need for hydrocarbons will never go away. Sorry Ladyfinger!

Who found globs of oil in his left shoe
He looked up the river and noticed with fright
Something was gushing from an old iron pipe

On further inspection and with minimum toil

We’re not ending oil addiction anytime soon, people. Get real. We need stricter regulations of these companies and those that lobby for them. Endbridge was warned about this pipeline a number of times? Obviously the company did nothing, but it’s difficult to believe regulators didn’t intervene. Taking action can’t just be pointing the finger when it comes to potential impacts to the environment and its inhabitants.

Why don’t YOU get off the “oil addiction” first: sell you car, lawnmower, all the plastic you own, refuse to take any public transportation (all vehicles use oil), and just try to live on windpower, solar, or whatever else the moronic liberals in this world think is viable, and THEN preach to the rest of us.

I have deep concerns because the pipeline goes right through my yard..and the smell started Sunday evening at my house. I have had an ongoing migraine since Sunday night..the smell is horrible and this morning there was a dead bird (without oil on it) right next to my house! I have left my home, because I dont feel safe there.

Hardly a news-worthy article anymore, or is it? It just goes to prove the saying that, “it could happen anywhere.” In defense of the oil companies, they didn’t mean to–but explain that to the bunnies and fishies. I consider myself an environmentalist, I guess, however i have never been known to hug Bambi, either. Yet, the nagging in my heart is for the Earth we all must share. This Earth, sometimes prone to disaster, but at least in the past, always pulling through, is getting smaller and smaller every day. So, I for one, wish to speak for the bunnies and fishies all I can.
