A teenager who was arrested for allegedly shooting a man in Hempstead on Wednesday was also implicated in a robbery last summer, Nassau County police said.
Michael Holley, 18, of Hempstead, got into an argument with a 37-year-old man when Holley shot the victim in the abdomen and leg on Albemarle Avenue, police said.
The victim was treated at Nassau University Medical Center for his injuries.
Third Squad detectives said Holley also robbed a pizza delivery man on the same Hempstead street on July 13, 2009.
Holley was charged with assault, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon for the alleged shooting. He was charged with robbery and assault for the alleged robbery.
He was arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
