that IS a great plan, why didnt anyone else think of it? so no fish for who knows how long, and i guess u will volunteer to “pick it up” from the sea floor and the wetlands??? cant wait to see that.
what i havent seen mentioned anywhere yet is the damage this will do, as it is already is,to the population of birds that use the gulf coast during spring and fall migration to replenish their energy with the food that used to exist for them along the gulf shores. the vanishing coastline in that area due to development is know to be a hindrance to wild birds since they cannot find enough to eat before going further to the us and canada, or central/south america on their way in the fall.
this f-up will have further reaching effects than our govt has anticipated. too bad they close their eyes to legitimate science.
