And the list of features Android users have to tout over the iPhone just shrank again: MapQuest has taken the wraps off the newest iteration in its GPS app for the iPhone OS, and it comes complete with voice navigation.
Launched today, MapQuest 4 Mobile is one of many navigation apps in Apple’s app store. But with some navigation apps costing as much as $80, MapQuest brings the feature to iPhones with a much more attractive price: Free.
Android phones equipped with version 2.0 or later of Google’s OS have been giving users free turn-by-turn voice-guided directions since late last year, beginning with Motorola’s Droid.
