Perhaps you have purchased a name brand product. You likely sought this product out because there was something special about it, something distinctive and discriminating.

Well, some people have now added a brand name to the death camp killings of World War II.

This is the term "Holocaust".

This term holds distinct from all who died and suffered, the pain of a single group. It attempts to convince us that somehow this pain is more special than all others.

This is offensive, discriminating and an insult to all others who have died at the hands of the Nazi regime.

Many groups were earmarked for genocide during World War II. All must be remembered.

Making the Jewish population distinct from the rest of the population, is what made the genocide possible. Is it really necessary to repeat that mistake here in America?
