Queens Woman Arrested for Bank Robbery

by Long Island Press on March 27, 2010

A Queens woman was arrested Friday for an attemptedĀ bank robbery last month, Nassau County police said.

Patricia Dupree, 48, entered the TD Bank located on Jericho Turnpike and handed the 29-year-old female teller a note demanding money on Feb. 19, police said. When she refused, Dupree fled the bank on foot heading west on Jericho Turnpike. Four other employees were in the bank and none were injured.

Dupree surrendered to Robbery Squad detectives and is charged with attempted robbery.
