you have read the Catholic fine print carefully - according to the catechism, the pope is said to be infallible only on matters concerning the catholic religious dogma.
I am in my 70,s and Catholic and have had "reservations" about this Pope the past 50 years. If he helped from behind the scenes why has it not been "proven" ? This one of the MANY reasons why I do not believe in the Infallibility of the Pope.

Why should catholics be responsible for saving the lives of those of the jewish faith?

Where were the people of the jewish faith, when the british were committing genocide against the Irish? Hundreds of years it went on, I didn't notice anyone standing up for the Irish.

The pope no doubt made the decisions he felt appropriate at the time. He had those of his own faith desperately under attack. His first and only responsibility is to those of his faith. ANY other efforts he made for those of other faiths were charity and compassion on his part.

If Hitler had succeeded it would have only have been a matter of time before he took out Catholics, but clearly the revisionists are less than interested in acknowledging that truth. They only have the truth they want you to hear.

World War II ended in 1945. After 65 years, I am frankly tired of having to listen too all of this whining.

Get over it and get on with your lives. Nobody owes anyone anything.

The more you complain, the more people ignore you.

The more you impose your opinions, the more people turn against you.

Aren't these the behaviors which gave rise and voice to Hitler?

Do you really want it to happen all over again?
