Bottom line, if the broadcast originates for the purpose of transmission over public airwaves and the provider is only passing along the signal; the broadcaster should have zero right to prevent it's rebroadcast.

ABC does not own the airwaves. The airwaves are a public resource for the public good. Those stations are there to serve the public, not the other way round.

Just more evidence of the constant evil being perpetrated by DISNEY and CABLEViSION and all their subs. Just makes you sick doesn't it? My opinion is to not waste another penny in support of any DISNEY or CABLEVISION venture.

If you idiots are stupid enough to continue to give your hard earned cash to these thieves, you'll get exactly what you deserve.

I filed a complaint against the network ABC, WABC-TV New York and the Disney Corporation with the FCC and expressed my desire to have their license to air their programs revoked. Needless to say, our illustrious FCC, just like the SEC was during the Madoff ponzie scheme, was asleep at the switch!

After all, the air rights are the property of the citizens of the United States, like having stock in a corporation. We have partial ownership and have a say.

As far as Cablevision is concerned, they have got to be the worst. At first I thought the message I saw when I turned on my tv was just to give me an update on what was going on, after all, I am a customer. Yet, when the messages kept changing and were on the air more and more, it felt like I was living in an Orwellian society and not in the United States of America.

Aren't there federal laws against monopolies? There has to some legal precedence (rulings by the courts) against monopolies.
