The cast of The Partridge Family reunited today on NBC’s morning broadcast, but their flock was one feather short: Actress Susan Dey was noticeably absent.
David Cassidy, Shirley Jones, Danny Bonaduce and the rest of the fictional Partridge clan gathered today for the cameras. The reunion occurred as part of a segment on NBC’s morning show called “Great TV Families Reunited”.

The lone cat member that did not attend was Susan Dey, and the actors did not give a reason for her absence.
After The Partridge Family ended in 1974, Dey went on to star in Echo Park in 1986, and played Grace Van Owen in L.A. Law. She won a Golden Globe for the role and was nominated for an Emmy three times.
Dey has one daughter, Sarah, with ex-husband Lenny Hirshan. She has been married to TV producer Bernard Sofronski since 1988. She is a rape activist, serving as a board member for the Rape Treatment Center at UCLA Medical Center.
