i hope this , being my first report will lead me to the correct authorities. there is a company in yaphank, asplundsh, whose president, on a regular basis orders his workers to go out in the yard to murder, decapitate and shoot ferrel cats,instead of safely capturing and releasing them elsewheres can something be done about this

I commend Nassau DA Rice for cracking down on Animal Abuse. However, in the case of Rough House Rescue’s Diane being accused of any wrongdoings, Diane was protecting the dog from its’ owner’s abuse. Diane took that dog and treated him, groomed him and comforted him. The owner should be brought up on charges not Diane. Whatever transpired, Diane was the rescuer here. I commend her and ask that the charges be brought against the owner of the dog.

all my life i have had dogs, and always was a rescue.. It people mistreat there kids and you believe what they do to the animal.. This has to stop. Put the bastard in jail.

Bravo to Kathleen Rice for her courage in being a voice for the voiceless in Nassau County, New York. Now, if only Cayuga County’s DA would follow her compassionate lead and prosecute the owners/managers of Willet Dairy Farm for egregious acts of animal cruelty and neglect to the over 7,000 cows and calves enslaved at this confined animal feeding operation. The evidence of shocking animal abuse, thoroughly documented in Mercy For Animals’ undercover investigation, is overwhelming.

Considering there is a pandemic of heroin abuse and trafficking out in LI, it is amazing what this women puts her energies into. First going after DD and now this, its’ a bit redundant isn’t it, this is what we have animal control for.

Why not just advise the NCPD and other PD’s within the County to arrest when necessary. Then prosecute like you do any other crime. That gets the message out. Have the NCPD et all work with ASPCA officers. You don’t need a press conference (unless you happen to want Cuomo’s job when he runs for Gov) and a new “unit” when the County’s resources are already stressed. Just prosecute each case as they come.

Funny how this psycho never manages to prosecute anything important. Long Island is filled with lying, cheating, thieving SOB’s who are stealing everyone blind and destroying this nation, but no; psycho has to go after the “evil” animal abusers.

Way to go on this one. I moved off the Island 6 years ago, to the midwest. This is an area that doesn’t much care about animals unless they are making money, i.e., cattle, etc. Cats are left to fend for themselves and it is common to see dead ones on the road on a daily basis. Dogs, too. They are allowed to run and get hit all the time. Not to mention sticking a dog in the back of a pickup and letting them fall out and either get hit by a car or it is so injured it gets hit anyway and the owner just keeps truckin’ Happened one day when I was at Vet, some jerk took a sick German Shepherd home, put it in the back of a truck, dog fell out. Owner brought dog back in, Vet knew what happened and impounded the dog. Glad to see someone speak up for these animals. They need a voice because they can’t speak for themselve.
