Target Burglar at Large

A man who stole more than $19,000 in merchandise from a Bay Shore store is being sought by Suffolk police.

On Nov. 26 of last year, the suspect broke into the Target located on Sunrise Highway by prying open an emergency door. Once inside, he stole 65 iPods and an Xbox 360, totaling more than $19,000 in retail value. He then ran away, running southbound through the back lot, according to 3rd Squad detectives.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
