A 24-year-old Westbury woman was arrested Saturday night for driving a stolen car in North Massapequa and being in possession of stolen credit cards, Nassau Police said.
According to Seventh Squad detectives, Misty Wilson, 24, of Brooklyn Avenue in Westbury was speeding southbound on North Broadway in North Massapequa in a 1999 Nissan Altima when officers from the Seventh Precinct pulled her over. The Altima was stolen, say detectives, and an investigation revealed Wilson also had credit cards on her that belonged to the vehicle’s owner.
Wilson was arrested shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday night. She was charged with four counts of criminal possession of stolen property and nine Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. Wilson will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Sunday.
