Nassau police arrested three Inwood men for burglary in Lawrence on Monday morning and one was charged with resisting arrest after he allegedly injured an officer during a struggle.
Fourth Precinct officers responded to a call for suspicious persons in the rear of a Washington Avenue home and upon arrival they found the three men carrying a laptop, DVD player, digital camera and videogames from inside the house at 6:26 a.m.
David Montalban, 19, Charles Flores, 21, and Glenn Stiles, 22, were each charged with assault, criminal possession of marijuana and two counts of burglary. The three men broke into the home and stole the electronics and some marijuana, according to 4th Squad detectives.
Stiles was also charged with resisting arrest because an officer was injured while attempting to apprehend him, getting hit in the jaw as Stiles kicked, flailed and tried to flee, police said. The officer was treated and released at South Nassau Community Hospital.
The three suspects will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
