Nassau police are investigating a bank robbery in Lynbrook on Wednesday morning. 
A man entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Sunrise Highway and gave a demand note to a teller at 9:08 a.m., according to Robbery Squad detectives. The robber fled eastbound toward Broadway after stealing an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect is described as black man, 40-50 years old, 6’-6’2” tall with a large build, wearing a light colored baseball cap, three quarter length dark green jacket, jeans and aviator type sunglasses.
