Lakeview Deli Robbed By Man With Handgun

robberyNassau detectives are investigating a robbery that went down in Lakeview in the evening of Dec. 6. 8:54 P.M.

At 8:45 p.m., a man armed with a silver handgun and carrying a black plastic garbage bag entered RNE Deli located on Lakeview Avenue and demanded the cashier put money in the bag.  The victim complied and the subject fled on foot northbound on Langdon Boulevard.  There were no patrons in the store at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.


A Nassau County Police Department spokesperson said robbery detectives are exploring a possible connection with a robbery that happened the same night at a Sunoco station in Freeport.

The subject is described as a male black, 5’7” tall, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweat jacket and black jeans.
