Nassau police are investigating two robberies at the same drive-up bank ATM in Baldwin in two days.
A 28-year-old man was at the Bank Of America on Grand Avenue when a man ran up to the driver’s side window, displayed a handgun and demanded the victim to turn off his vehicle at 11:17 p.m. on Thursday, according to 1st Squad detectives.
A second robber got in the rear passenger door and pointed a handgun at victim, while first suspect ran around the car and got in the front passenger door, police said. The suspects demanded victim to remove currency from ATM, then demanded his wallet.
The two robbers then told the victim to drive out of the parking lot onto Grand Avenue, then left on Village Avenue where the pair got out of the car and fled the east on Village Avenue, then north on McDonald Place.
On Wednesday night a pair of suspects robbed another 28-year-old man at the same bank at about the same time of night.
