Cops Seek Help Finding Elderly Copiague Man

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an 82-year-old Copiague man who suffers from dementia.

Bennie Clay Jr. left his 42nd Street home on Monday at about 9 a.m. and has not returned home or communicated with his family since then. Clay was driving his black, 2004 Lincoln Town Car with NY registration “ CLAYJR.”

He is described as 6’ tall, 170 pounds, balding with graying black hair and mustache. Clay is under a doctor’s care for early stage dementia.

Anyone with information about Bennie Clay Jr’s whereabouts is asked to call Fugitive/Missing Persons Section detectives at 631-852-6040.
