A woman and her two young children were victims of a home invasion in Woodmere on Tuesday morning, Nassau police said.
Two masked men, one armed with a handgun, walked into a Church Avenue home through an unlock front door, confronted 28-year-old woman and demanded the location of a safe at 7:25 a.m., according to 4th Squad detectives.
The victim replied, “I don’t have a safe,” but the duo ransacked the house and stole a laptop computer, jewelry, credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash before they fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
Detectives asked anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
