Dancers, including a contortionist, will entertain patrons at a new Off-Track Betting nightclub. But despite sexy advertising, officials say the facility will offer only “good, clean fun.”
The Nassau County OTB Race Palace is trying to attract a younger audience during the middle of the week.
Restaurateur Steven Carl says it will offer dining, followed by the nightclub entertainment, starting Wednesday evening.
A separate Web site, by the entertainment provider for the “X S Wednesdays” promotion, pictures a scantily clad woman reclining on a leather couch. County Legis. David Denenberg (D-Merrick) called it offensive.
But Carl says “nothing risque” will be happening there.
Customers are asked to wear “upscale attire.”
