Nassau police arrested an East Rockaway man for burglary on Saturday. 
The owners of a home on Royal Avenue in Oceanside discovered that someone had broken into their house by breaking through a side window and stole an unknown amount of jewelry. The victims also found a blood trail throughout their home leading out the front door.
Fourth Squad detectives apprehended Gregory Pearsall, 46, at South Nassau Community Hospital where he had gone to seek treatment for a laceration to his arm. He was charged with burglary.
