An Elmont teenager was arrested for robbing a girl and trying to rob two boys in his hometown on Saturday night, Nassau police said.
Oshinsky Labossiere, 16, and another suspect not yet arrested, entered the McDonald’s on Hempstead Turnpike, approached a 15-year-old girl, displayed what appeared to be the handle of a hand gun and demanded the victim’s cell phone at 7:15 p.m., according to 5th Squad detectives. After taking the cell phone, the pair fled on foot.
A short time later, Labossiere met up with friends near Kiefer Avenue and Stewart Street where they surrounded two 15-year-old boys. Labossiere again displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s valuables but after a brief struggle, the suspects fled the scene without any proceeds, police said.
Labossiere was apprehended five hours later and was charged with robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.
