A liquor shop in Lakeview was robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday afternoon, Nassau police said.
Two men approached the clerk at Hing Liquor located on Woodfield Road when the first man pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money at 4 p.m., according to 5th Squad detectives.
The same robber then removed and undetermined amount of cash from the register. The second robber stole lottery scratch-off tickets and several bottles of liquor, police said.
Both suspects then fled on foot northbound on Woodfield Road. The first suspect is described as a white man, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’10” tall, 160 pounds. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’4” tall, 140 pounds. Both were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black baseball caps.
