A North Massapequa store was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night, Nassau police said.
Two men, one armed with a semi-automatic handgun, entered Broadway Grocery on North Broadway and demanded money from the cashier at 9:13 p.m., according to 8th Squad detectives.
The 42-year-old victim complied and the robbers fled the scene with the cash westbound on North Virginia Avenue, police said. No injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as white men, both approximately 20 years old, 6’ tall with a thin build. Both wore bandanas over their faces, one red and one dark in color. One wore a dark baseball cap on his head, while the other wore a dark gray hooded jacket.
