Two women and a man were robbed at knifepoint in Baldwin on Thursday night, Nassau police said.
The two women, ages 18 and 22, and an 18-year-old man were parked in a Honda Accord on Lynne Street when two robbers approached, one knocked the man to the ground, brandished a box cutter and forcibly stole cash from the victim’s pockets at 7:45 p.m., according to 1st Squad detectives.
The second robber opened the rear passenger door of the car, shoved one of the women and stole her purse. The first robber then stole the second woman’s purse before both robbers fled on foot, police said.
