Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the woman who stole and used someone’s credit cards in Deer Park last year.
A Deer park man had his wallet stolen at the 7-11 store on Deer Park Avenue on Aug. 26, 2008. The wallet contained two Mastercard credit cards that were used to make unauthorized purchases at a Stop and Shop and a Gulf gas station in Deer Park, as well as a Stop and Shop in East Northport. The woman in the picture used the cards at Stop and Shop, according to 1st Squad detectives.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential and the caller will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
