Some one HAS to be paying attention to this.
Lets face it, this county is in trouble. With that being said, there is only one place to lay the responsibillity and that is at the feet of Mr. "it's not my fault" Suozzi.

His dear old dad is raking in 10.6 MILLION a year on the tax refund debacle??!!!
No wonder he won't take care of it. I guess dear ol' dad needs a new pair of golden slippers while the rest of us pay more in fees and lose services in the parks and every other service in Nassau County.

And let us not forget that 16.4 million a year is going to Forchelli, Curt, Deegan and company who just so happen to be from guess where? Glen Cove! Connected? I'm guessing yes!

And the band plays Suozzi's favorite song, "blame it on Gulotta and anyone else but me"
.
Gulotta was not in any way blameless, BUT, Souzzi has 400 plus patronage jobs (300% above what Gulotta ever had) at a cost of $300 million plus since he took office and the CSEA rank and file gets lagged again!!
This and countless other fiscal horrors and there will STILL be people out there who will vote for him because he lies! We know he lies because his lips are moving!
He (Souzzi) has made it VERY clear he does not want to be here in Nassau but in a "higher" office.
That Higher office better be in his dreams or we are all going to be paying for it for many years to come.

Ed Mangano may not have all the answers but his heart and mind and family are right here in Nassau County. He has the right direction and his plans at least gives us a chance at saving this county. You gotta give that a chance and dump the Souzzi tax and spend plan. It dosen't work!

Just ask yourself the billion dollar question:
Is this county even a little bit better off now than it was eight years ago?

The answer is "not even close"!!!!! And it's Tom Souzzi's fault!!!! Period.
I'd love to hear him say "it was my fault" about ANYTHING, just once! He won't. Ever.

Souzzi had the extra income of 19.5% tax increase for EIGHT YEARS in a row!
And he blew that money!!!!! Gone! Vanished! SPENT!
Now we have cameras at the lights so big brother Tom can make us pay for his mismanagment and mis spending of OUR money!
The time has come for Souzzi and his NYC vision of Nassau to get out of town.
And I hope he takes his NYC over paid groupies with him along with his dream of higher office.

"Fourth in revenues, according to Jankowski’s report, is Uniondale-based Forchelli, Curto, Deign, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana, LLP, listed as having conducted an estimated $16.4 million worth of business between those years.
The sixth most-profitable firm at the tax cert trough, in terms of estimated revenues, says the analysis, is Meyer Suozzi English & Klein, PC, where Suozzi’s father is a partner and NYS Gov. David Paterson’s father is a member. The firm raked in an estimated more than $10.6 million between 2003 and 2008, it says."

So the Suozzi law firm benefits from all of this, and Deegan of the aforementioned law firm was a Glen Cove City Council member for how many years? No wonder the CE has done nothing.
