After 100 years of "warring" against drugs, do you think that maybe it is time to find a new approach to this issue?

We are expending rediculous sums of money and other reosurces to combat something that isn't going to stop, ever.

The fact is that we have turn drug products into very lucrative, profitable commodities. This profits are going to fund gangs, crime, terrorism and death.

It is high time we move these products out of the undergorund economy into the legitimate economy. If the prohibition era toaught us anything, it is that people are going to live their lives the way they want and there isn;t a damn thing anyone else can do about it.

Time to legalize, tax, educate and rehablitate drug users. This is the only portential solution to our "problems".

When you consider the success countries such as the netherlands have had in combatting their abuse problems, it is likely the U.S. could greatly benefit from a significant change in strategy.

Our problem has never been drug use. Our problem has been drug abuse and this abuse is encouraged, not discouraged; by our present system.

A drug abuser doesn't stop until they wise up on their own or until they die.

Let's stop wasting time.
