Years in business: 7
Business Description: Family-friendly restaurant and sports bar.
How did you get into this business?
My family has been in the restaurant business my entire life. We started out with wholesaling seafood on Long Island for 16 years. When I wanted to branch out, we decided to open a family-owned and -operated business. The restaurant was a natural fit to incorporate the seafood business and continue to satisfy our loyal customers on Long Island.
What is your favorite memory of doing business on LI?
The seafood and restaurant businesses have given me the opportunity to meet and work with many special individuals on Long Island.
How are you different from your competition?
Our seafood is sushi quality fresh from the market daily. We have a family friendly environment and yet we are also a sports bar. We have 47 big screen TV’s, which is the most out of any restaurant on Long Island. Our kitchen is open late every night with a full menu for our diners to choose from. Customer service is our top priority and we always have the best quality food available.
Who is the biggest celebrity you have ever served?
We are involved in many charity events annually. One year Dee Snider from Twisted Sister came into the restaurant for one of them and he was extremely personable. Also, Laveranues Coles has been a repeat customer.
What is your best-selling item?
This is a hard question because our menu has a wide variety to choose from. We have a lot of popular items that range from our chicken wings to our fresh lobsters. Everyone tends to have a different favorite. Also, we don’t want to forget our fabulous martinis!
