by Michael M. Martino, Jr. on July 26, 2009

PoliceLights2Montauk Highway was closed for hours today after a two-car crash killed three people.

According to Suffolk detectives, a 2009 Mitsubishi was hit by a 1999 Ford Windstar minivan in Copiague at Montauk Hwy. and Miramar Blvd. at around 4:30 p.m.

Damian Dudkiewicz, 25 of 138 Clearwater Rd., Lindenhurst, was driving the Mitsubishi with three passengers and lost control of the vehicle, sliding into oncoming traffic. The Mitsubishi was struck by a 1999 Ford Windstar, driven by Rosanna Attaguile, traveling westbound.

Dudkiewicz and one of his passengers in Mitsubishi were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center where the passenger was listed in critical condition. Dudkiewicz suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A physician’s assistant from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office pronounced the two other passengers dead at the scene. Their identities were not released, pending notification of kin.

Attaguile, 50, of 148 Spruce Street, Lindenhurst, was also taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center with her parents, Guisseppe Zuardo, 77, and Teresa Zuardo, 69, of 76-11 70th Ave., Brooklyn, who were passengers in the vehicle.

Teresa Zuardo was also pronounced dead.

Guisseppe Zuardo and Attaguile were being treated for their injuries.

Suffolk detectives are investigating the crash, and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the First Squad at 631-852-8152.

Wedding & Event FAQ
Q- Does the flower girl have to wear white or ivory to match the bride?

A-Your flower girl can wear any colored dress, which of course coordinates with the rest of your wedding party. If you choose for her to wear white or ivory, you can accent the dress with the bridal party color sash or appliqué. She can also wear the color of the bridal party and to differentiate her, you can add a white or ivory sash. Choose something that you feel will coordinate best with the rest of your bridal party.
